Bennachie Set - no.2 Traditional Cache

Easy walking along Forest trails in Bennachie area. Good paths, waymarked, slight uphill climb, off-road stroller ok, bit of a push, small children should be ok. Dogs allowed.
Park at the Donview Forest walks car park at: NJ 672 190, north of Monymusk. There are No toilets here!!! picnic tables and information boards, but no bins.
Follow the small trail at the back of the car park which leads you off to the right, not the main trail which is signposted for Millstone Hill and Mither Tap. Follow this trail until a junction is reached (a second one) and a larger forestry track crossing the path. I can highly recommend that you continue to follow the green path before or after the cache as it is a lovely walk with great views of course, however, this makes it popular, and I was spied 4 times trying to find hiding spots along here, so thought I better not chance it. Instead, at the junction, go right along the forestry track a short distance, which should just take you out of view. The cache itself is not far from the path - in the trees, which will probably fuzz the signal, so take the spoiler hint. It's not difficult to find though. Allow 20 - 30 minutes to the cache, but take your time and enjoy the area! Many thanks to Mark at the Forestry Commission for granting permission for theis cache.
