Geocache Description:

This cache was originally placed on May 18, 2006 but the cache and all it's contents went missing so I placed a new cache in a new location. On July 03, 2007 I requested the cache be changed to a Traditional Cache due to someone taking all the coordinates from around the park. I left the cache in the same place it was and just made it a lot faster to find.

This is a nice park to bring the whole family and even a picnic lunch as there is plenty of seating areas as well as a playground for the children. There is a wide range of wildlife living here, including Canadian geese, ducks, a wide variety of birds, rabbits and, even though I've never seen them, beavers make their presence known here. Before this park was developed there was a relatively large beaver dam here.

This original cache was inspired by 2-poco's - Keys to Colony Farm (REKEYED). I did this cache on May 1st, 2006 and really enjoyed it. Prior to this I was not that fond of doing multi-caches but this changed things for me and now I look forward to them.

The trail has very few elevation changes and is an easy walk or ride.

The cache is a 2 liter camo container and contains:

  • logbook, pencils, sharpener
  • various trade items

There can be a lot of muggles around so be careful. The cache is in one of the more secluded areas but watch out.

Since this is my first cache I thought I'd make it a nice easy one to do and enjoy. No puzzles or micro caches here! It's a walk in the park.
