G.C. Vestry Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ninja Reviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

The city of Goose Creek has about 17 public parks. This is the newest park and future plans include additional playing fields , walking trails and a fishing dock.

CACHE PLACED WITH PERMISSION FROM THE GOOSE CREEK PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION.

-Recommended for daylight hours only.
-Parking may be limited at times.
-Park is often busy, but coords at first stage can be obtained if you are stealthy.
-Cache container is an ammo can. Contents are...traditional geo-stuff.

At the given coordinates, you will find a sign. Answer the following questions to determine the 2nd stage coordinates. You will ONLY use the bottom half of the sign AFTER the word ATTENTION.

NOTE: Count CAREFULLY! This is where most people make mistakes.

2nd STAGE COORDS: N 32.58. A B C
W 80.01. D E F

A = The number of times an “ampersand” is used.

B = The number of times the word “Soccer” appears.

C = The number of times the letter “C” appears in the last
sentence.

D = The number of letters in the 5th word on the first line

E = The number of times the letter “B” appears in the
paragraph.

F = The number of times the letter “N” appears, divided by
the number of times the word “Goose” appears.

If you approach the 2ND STAGE location from the correct direction, you will only be in cover for the last 100 ft. Trust your GPSR and your gut. You are looking for a camouflaged micro which contains the final coords.

***PLEASE*** At the final location make sure that you reattach the tether to the container when you replace it. You will understand the importance of this when you get there.

Hazards include: Skeeters, ticks, spiders, snakes...Hey! You're outside.
