This cache is located along the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail. The trail used to be the old Route 17 so it is a paved surface. The cache is not far off the trail. Park is open sunrise to sunset.
"Not Hotel California" now a 2 star TB hotel. There is room for 5-8 TB's. Dawn to dusk check-in and check-out. Please sign the registry book upon arrival and stay as long as you like. You can always check out and you will always be able to leave. This is "Not Hotel California"
The trail is 8 1/2 miles long and is very nice for biking or walking. There are picnic tables along the way also. The cache is now a lock n lock box camoflaged well to blend with it's environment. Please cover well after you find it. You should allow time to walk about a 1/2 mile and you may have to wait out some muggles. The original cache contained 10 travel bugs. 8 of those were just being launched from this "hotel" to make their way across the country. There is also the usual loot. FTF gets a child's digital camera. (The original was a huge ammo case that was hard to close and leaked)
