Geocache Description:

The 5th in a series of steel bridges, who knows how many it will end with!

View of the Bridge

This is another nice older steel bridge that is crossing the Walnut River south of Winfield, KS. Unlike my other bridges, this one carries rail traffic and sees about 25-30 trains a day, located on the BNSF's Arkansas City Subdivision.

I have placed the cache near to this bridgle but yet a little back from the tracks for a safety stand point. The cache is accessable from a road which runs under this bridge.

This has been placed for the Geo-get-together in Winfield on May 20, 2006, since I cannot attend I decided to place a cache, for all of the attendees.
