Located beside the Frog Pond, a scenic park with walking trails in the Dingle Park
An easy car ride ,10 mins from the Armdale Rotary.The Frog Pond is located in Sir Sandford Flemming Park. The "Father of standard time", and he designed Canada's first postage stamp.Flemming offered 95 acres of land at the Dingle as a park in 1908 for the people of Halifax. The trail around the Frog Pond is rich in aquatic life,and home to ducks,loons, heron....and did I say "FROGS" also see Beaver feeding at dusk. Parking at N 44'37.486 W 063'36.319 the cache is located on the other side of Purcells Road overlooking a second 'Frog Pond' approximately 75m from the sidewalk.You are looking for a 'Frog' sheltered in a "frog cave". The cache when placed contained a small pop-up 'frog',4 glow in the dark bugs, born to be wild key chain,NS lapel pin, & a $2.00 Tim's certificate for a FTF prize plus a Frog toy key chain that wouldn't fit inside the 'Frog' The cache is small so small trading items please.
