Geocache Description:


Located off of the Florida Trail in SWFWMD's Green Swamp East, the cache is a Decon container with room for a log book and small trade items. BYOP.

Cache is near a primitive camp site, not far from the orange blazed Florida Trail. Campsite doesn't look like it gets much use.


Precautions: Hiking is allowed but not recommended during general gun hunting season (generally mid-November to mid-January). Caution is advised during archery, small game, and spring turkey seasons. Hikers should be aware of hunting dates.

Hikers must wear 500 square inches of orange clothing above the waist during hunting seasons.

Dense tree cover may affect your final GPS readings so of course you may have to use your geocaching intuition to find the actual cache. Please rehide the cache securely and conceal it well so it cannot be seen. Have fun!

After you locate the cache please make sure to seal the Decon container properly by pressing down on all sides until they snap in place - otherwise the cache may not stay dry.
