just a second: We were in the park walking the dogs and decided to check on the cache. Unfortunately it looks as if someone made off with it. All we could find was the geocaching sticker from the outside of the cache. In other words this cache is done. We are thinking of another area in the same park for a sequel. Thanks for everyone who visited.

Geocache Description:

Located in a unofficial off-leash dog park on an old golf course.

This cache is located in what was the back nine of a golf course in Charleswood. The front nine are currently being used as the Charleswood Parkway. Eventually this green space will also end up roadway as there are plans to further extend the Parkway south. If you approach from the north check your GPS it may show you speeding across the first nine holes course at 80 KPH. While this is not officially designated as a off-leash park you will be hard pressed to see it used as anything else. It is always full of dogs and their owners. It is fenced in on three sides but there are various holes in the wire by which one may enter. The cache is a small round plastic container with very little space for anything other than a log book and a short pencil.
