Geocache Description:

10 metres from the road in the hollow base of a tree with rocks piled on it. Safe parking behind in Gravel pit

Not much you can say about a drive by. I will give it a go though. You can park safely behind the cache location in a gravel pit. When I was young and we travelled from Albany to Perth there were a couple of things that I remember we asked for to spice up the drive. One was the excitement of seeing the 100 mile marker just over the bridge at Williams. The second, if we could convince Dad to divert, was a trip down the Kwinana Freeway from Perth so we could go over the whoopsy in the road that was near the Canning Bridge and was supposedly caused by earth movement during the Meckering Earthquake. The third was a diversion via the Porongurups so we could view the Sleeping Lady. The whoopsy has gone, the Kwinana Freeway actually goes to Kwinana and the 100 mile marker is no more. From the cache location look due North to the Stirling Ranges to view her profile. She slumbers still.
