This is a small roadside park in Wetumpka that honors the memory of John Kelly Fitzpatrick, an eminent Southern artist.
My wife and I used to go to Magnolia Bluff in Seattle to watch the ships go up and down Puget Sound. (Yeah!!)
This park has some nice southern magnolia trees, hence the name. There is a nice view in the winter, but not much of a view in the summer.
Be careful pulling out onto the highway after your find. Don't let your excitement of the find cloud your judgment. Have fun.
