Have you seen Mission Impossible 3 yet? A scene from the movie was filmed at this location in the summer of 2005. You will know which scene when you see the location.
The quasi-gate near the cache was the security point for the equipment which was kept here during filming. Crew, helicopters, lights were all evident for a couple of weeks.
