Geocache Description:

This is a seven stage multicache. You should expect a hike of about five miles over mostly flat terrain. A bicycle might be a good idea. This geocache has been authorized by the Manager of Skidaway Island State Park. Please follow all park rules and regulations while on the property. There is a $5.00 parking fee per vehicle.

All clues can be found without leaving the trail, so please do not. Many thanks to the Park Manager for all her help with this cache, it is greatly appreciated.

I will not presume to dictate your route, so will simply post the waypoints and their clues and let you figure out the order in which you want to look for them. The final cache is a padlocked toolbox located in the Park office. This cache can ONLY be accessed between the hours of 8AM to 5PM every day but Christmas.

First Clue: N31 57.103 - W081 03.029 The Amphitheater. How many benches are there?

Second Clue: N31 57.079 - W081 03.270 Yaupon Holly / Cabbage Palm. What letter of the alphabet is on the nearby wooden post?

Third Clue: N31 56.975 - W081 03.413 Bridge. What letter of the alphabet is on the nearby wooden post?

Fourth Clue: N31 57.108 - W081 03.470 Defense. The earthwork fortifications here are shaped like what letter of the alphabet?

Fifth Clue: N31 57.624 - W081 03.248 Observation Tower. How many steps are there?

Sixth Clue: N31 57.982 - W081 02.762 Earthworks. What are the last two digits of the year on the sign?

Seventh Clue: N31 57.785 - W081 02.805 Shell Midden. What is the number on top of the nearby wooden post?

Now the math. Pay close attention, Johann. If the clue is a letter then simply change that letter into a number by converting it using A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, etc. If the clue is a number then you don't have to do anything to it. Once you have collected all the clues just add them all together to get the three digit number that will unlock the final cache.
