This multi-cache is set in the backwoods fairly close to the stomping grounds of Hughie who can be found at Haggis Hermit. Park off Hidden Valley Road beside the Fence Trail on the Cranbrook side of Hidden Valley Lake.
This cache is in three parts and is the first official Haggis Triathlon in Canada. Before participating, consider, "Am I reasonably fit? Adventure-seeking? Fun-loving?" Then read on.....
First of all the hike up the glen.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: THE COORDINATES HAD TO BE CHANGED WHEN IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT CHIPMUNKS, COLUMBIA GROUND SQUIRRELS AND SQUIRRELS HAD BEEN ATTACKING THE CONTAINER TO GET AT THE "HAGGIS."
Then up and down "Ben Nevis". Next "Strike for the Haggis" involving crossing raging streams, fighting off bears and cougars, and swarms of bloodthirsty mosquitoes. And now the final ascent. With any luck you may spot Davie preparing for the next Kootenay Highland Games. But watch out for flying banshees and misdirected cabers!! Help ma Boab!! This is definitely not for the fainthearted!!
