Geocache Description:

A nice quiet place to sit and rest, this is the "Philosopher's Walk" between The University of Toronto, and the Royal Ontario Museum.

WARNING: THIS IS A NANO CACHE (VERY VERY TINY)

The GPS co-ords were logged at an accuracy of 7m, and after several readings we are happy with them.

If the logbook is hard to get out, tap the container on the side and pull from the portion that starts to pop out. Please roll it back up NICE AND TIGHT so the next cacher can get it out of the container without a problem.

It may necessary to be discreet at times.

From the Plaque at the Location:

This walkway, known as "Philosopher's Walk," follows the ravine landscape created by Taddle Creek as it once flowed towards Lake Ontario. As the City grew, the creek became contaminated, was channelized and was completely buried as a series of sewers. The last vestige of the creek flowed through these University of Toronto lands and disappeared in the early 1880s.

This walk passes by two of Toronto's most prestigious institutions, the Royal Ontario Museum and the University of Toronto. The walk's Bloor Street entrance is highlighted by the Queen Alexandra Gateway (circa 1901), an ornamental iron and stone entrance with commemorative plaques.
