This man-made lake has been here almost 70 years. It's orignal name was Manzanita Lake. One is currently called that at the UNR.
If you take the oppurtunity to walk around the lake you will have walked one mile, passed horses in the field and cars of the 20 century cruising slowly by, in the early evening you'll see the neon lights of a nearby casino reflecting in the water and a lovely sunset to the west. You'll see joggers, walkers, kids, couples and everyone in between.
The 'Woman and Bowl' seems to be some sort of natural rock formation, close by is a fascinating area to sit on these same type of natural formations and contemplate the water fountain out of the same rock. The fountain was non-working for some time due to the ducks eating it, but is now fully funtioning.
You should be able to gaze around without being noticed too much.
Cache has several small trade items and a FTF
Please place cache back well so it will remain hidden from many eyes.
