Gone but not forgotten Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This spot was originally called Cedar Cemetery, because of the abudance of cedar trees here. Drive past the cache and park at these cords. N 42 39.596 W 111 34.746. Please don't go through the yards to get this.
You are looking for a decon container, with some small goodies inside, and a log book. The ground here is extremely rocky and the graves are shallow. Some buried here are victimes of a 1891 diphthera epidemic which swept through town killing many children. One of the children is second cousin to Samuel Clemens, also known as Mark Twain. Some graves are still enclosed by the original picket fences. Please respect the dead. Look but do not touch! Beware of Roxie, she may lick you. Visit the photo gallery to see Roxie. Do not cross the fence.
