Geocache Description:


This if a small cache, 1 1/2 pt plastic container , so bring small items for trade. This is a National Historic Site Depicting the homesteading of Goshen County, and I’m sure is similar to other counties of Wyoming. This site was a bi-centennial project by the City of Torrington and Goshen County in 1975. The Homesteaders Museum has the Midway Prairie school from 1928-1949, the Yoder House Museum House , 1882-1988, and a number of railroad cars and cabooses, among many interesting items. Summer visiting hrs start June 1st opening at 9:30 am till 4:00 pm Mon. thru Wed, Fridays 9:30am till 7:00pm, Sat. 12:00pm to 6:00pm and Sundays 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
Winter hours are 9:30am to 4:00pm Mon thru Fri. Is interesting to visit and see the Good Ol’e Days.
