Located off Lowries Run Road in Lowries Run Slopes, an Allegheny Land Trust Property
To enter the woods, locate the Lowries Run Slopes sign next to the BP gas station and Joe's beer distributor along Lowries Run Road. Walk directly behind the sign and into the woods via the trail. This donated property is in the Lowries Run Biological Diversity Area (BDA). It was Allegheny Land Trust's first holding in the BDA. We’ve been able to park at Bruster’s Ice Cream shop when it’s not busy. Please park in the rear.
