Geocache Description:

The cache is a large .50 caliber ammo box. It is a travel bug way station designed to help travelers from New York catch a ride to Vermont more quickly, and vice versa. I placed it with easy access in mind; it is only 1 mile from Exit 28 on the I-87 Northway, and your total TB exchange time should be less than 15 minutes.

Park your car at the Public Fishing Access for the Schroon River on the south side of Rte. 74 (right side of the road as you drive from exit 28 towards Vermont). The cache is across the road on the north side down the embankment in a pretty obvious spot for a geocache. Watch out for the traffic and the muggles.

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a "travel bug jail", and there are no rules for travel bug exchange. Dump as many as you want, take as many as your conscience and travel plans allow. Remember the first rule of picking up hitchhikers: pick them up only if you're willing to help them get where they want to go in a decent amount of time.

P.S. There is a plastic peanut-butter jar inside with trade goods... no trading necessary, actually. Let me know if it is starting to get thin and I'll add some more.
