Geocache Description:

The cache is in a beautiful view spot on Upper Trail Lake. Unless the ice is solid, you will have a hike or a bike ride (or a paddle!) to reach the point. The Johnson Lake trailhead is near mile 33, just north of the fish hatchery.

There are a number of interesting items to start the trading, including an Alaska Geocoin for the First Finders!
Enjoy the views, including fantastic L.V.Ray Peak south across the lake, and Lark Mountain to the east. Black or Brown bears are often spotted on the mountainsides, as are mountain goats.
The fallen beetle-killed spruce make the trek off the trail a bit of a challenge, but there is always a way around or over.
Tuck the container back carefully. This spot does get visits from campers and folks on picnics.
