Geocache Description:

The cache is located off the North Loop Trail on Mt. Charleston. Access is on Deer Creek Road, Hwy 158, off the Kyle Canyon Road. It is the second turnoff past Hilltop Campground.

You will just be getting a good start on the Mummy Spring Trail when you reach the cache site. I hid it as we returned to the truck after about a nine mile hike. I would recommend stopping on the way up. The cache is about 300 feet off the main trail through a flat partial meadow. When you reach the edge you will have a great view of Las Vegas and the nearby Spring Mountain Youth Camp. Do you see the football field? That's how the cache got it's name. It would take a great arm to thrown that far.
