This one replaces the original 9 mile cache that I placed back in 2002. Can be an easy long hike or rather difficult short hike with a lot of bushwacking depending on starting point. If it is hot, take water! Early morning and in the evenings are the best for wildlife viewing
This one is now a standard ammo can. Some small items that I had in the car and a log book are all included. Easy but longer route to the cache starts at the parking area located at 6600 west fletcher. Do not go inside the gates or fenced area. You can not get to the cache by going west. That is airport land. Go around the airport land (where the concrete buildings are)by following the trail to the south. The original cache went up in flames when the prarie burned a few years ago.
