When you get close to the waypoint look for a wide spot in the bend of a sharp turn in the road, just before it starts up a long steep grade. There is a picture of what the view to the cache looks like. There is a cave nearby that is quite deep and could be dangerous, be careful and be warned the Cache is not in this cave! This lava flow is very uneven and full of deep cracks and crevices. long pants and boots are recommended. The cache is not more than 100 Ft off the road but hard to find.
