At Squantum Point, visitors can see the Boston skyline across
Dorchester Bay and dozens of species of wild birds. The park is
what's left of a Naval airfield. It was also once the home of the
Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corporation, which built destroyers for the
Navy during WWII. The MDC developed the site as a waterfront park,
maintaining both its bird habitat and traces of its aviation
history. The park officially opened to the public in June of 2001,
and it is now a popular spot to walk, bike and rollerblade. This
cache is different from and replaces GCJ8Y5. Stages are film cans
and the final is an 8oz L&L.
