This cache was placed in honor of my family's homestead near Eads Colorado. They owned a thriving cattle ranch at the turn of the 20th century. The land was lush and green and plants and animals abundant! Take a look now..... The dust bowl changed the landscape of Eastern Colorado and they were forced to sell their land which is now a thriving pig farm, and move to Lamar, Colorado. I find it fascinating how different things can be. I hope you enjoy this off the beaten path cache. We have included many nice trinkets for those who wish to make this journey. We hope you Enjoy!
