La sablière is an old sand quarry. Today it is frequented
by mountain bikers, and is a playground for the children of
families who come here on week-end for picnic.
Park at N49°17.217' E003°55.380' in front a the "big"
sablière and follow your GPS. You can stay on track until
the last 15ft. (There is also a smaller
sablière near N49°17.197' E003°55.697' which is less
crowded, but your are not supposed to park there.)
The container is a 6"x6" tupperware box with a yellow cap. It
initally contained:
- a logbook
- two pens
- a spare ziploc
- trade items:
- two books in English
- a golf ball
- a key-ring "wood hand"
- a "satellite X-ing" badge
- a purple candle
- a dice-shaped candle holder
- a spoon in wood
- a bell
- TB Minnie

est aujourd'hui
fréquentée par des VTT et servant de bac à sable géant aux
enfants des familles venant pique-niquer le week-end.
Garez-vous en N49°17.217' E003°55.380' face à
la « grande » sablière avant de suivre votre GPS. Vous pouvez
approcher la cache à 5m en restant sur les chemins. (Pour les
currieux, il y a aussi une petite sablière
en N49°17.197' E003°55.697'; elle est moins fréquentée depuis que
le parking y a été interdit.)
La boite est un tupperware de 15cm*15cm avec
un couvercle jaune. Son contenu initial était le
suivant:
- un logbook
- un crayon et un stylo
- un ziploc supplémentaire
- objets d'échange:
- deux livres en
anglais
- une balle de golf
- un porte clef (main en bois)
- un écusson "satellite X-ing"
- une bougie violette
- un porte-bougie en forme de dé
- une cuiller en bois
- un grelot

I'm in the vicinity once every 2 or 3 months, but I placed the
cache with my mother who lives a few kilometers away and often come
here to walk her dog. She offered watch over the cache between my
visits.
Je passe dans le voisinage tous les 2 ou 3
mois, mais ai placé cette cache avec ma mère qui habite à quelques
kilometres et vient souvent promener son chien ici. Elle s'est
proposée pour surveiller la cache entre mes visites.
