Geocache Description:

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck?

“As much wood as a woodchuck would, if a woodchuck could chuck wood.”

This geo cache can be accessed by a well-located drive-n-park, then a short walk down an asphalt trail. Coordinates will take you right to a very unlikely spot. If you’re lucky you may observe one of these burrowing rodents "chucking wood." At the very least, you’ll easily notice the plentiful wood chips that are scattered about, evidence that a “Chipper” or Chucker was recently active.

Patience and a good deal of luck will help you find this hide.

Enjoy!

P.S. In late 2006, it was discovered that "Chipper" is actually an otter and was moved to a new habitat more suitable to his liking. Chipper is now a little more than 300 feet west of his previous home and an easy walk. You’ll still pass by a good deal of wood chips on route to Chipper’s new home. Call him Chipper or Otto…whatever you decide you’re still going to find him to be an elusive little critter.
