Geocache Description:

Your looking for a walking path at the west end of the parking area. Shouldn't be a real hard find. Looking for a regular cache with room for items or TB's, hidden WELL in a grassy area a bit off the beaten path. A walking or poking stick will be a great help in locating this hide.

The cache name is in relation to the area and not so much the spot. Shrimp boats abound off the beaches in the early AM and is the one thing this area is famous for. You may be lucky enough and able to pick up some fresh on the way back out. Check background image for recipes. Sneads Ferry is also the home to the annual Shrimp Festival (2010 will be the 40th) that's held on the second weekend every August. Cache contains a FTF prize and a lot of small items for trade. Beware of muggles, can be a few about depending on day and time you are there. Bug spray may be a good idea... it can be rough at times. Happy Hunting. If possible please do a bit of CITO when visiting this cache. Its a shame that others don't have the same respect for the future of the environment as cachers do and please RE HIDE CACHE BETTER than you found it. Thanks... Webfetti.com
