We’ve been geocaching for a couple of years and realized that it was time we did our part and placed a cache. This one will take you down the NCC pathway with a little bushwhacking to get to the cache itself. There is a nice stop nearby to rest or even have a picnic. The only other cache in the area is “First Try” by Markus, hence the name of our cache. New note as of May 2023: A lot has changed since we first placed this cache years ago. There are now a lot of challenge caches in the area. Also the bush has filled in a lot and as indicated by Mapsit, a new drainage ditch has appeared making access a little more difficult. If you get to the ditch go left until you are able to cross. I recommend rainboots or shoes you do not mind getting muddy. I have increased the terrain rating because of this change. Happy caching!
