The cache is placed in a natural hollow, high up the embankment, to give a fine view of Thornwick Bay. Although access is quite steep it's not far from the path, and is easier to go up the embankment to retreive the cache than down it. The best way is to follow the steps down towards the bay, then climb back up towards the cache location. The cache is well hidden, so look for natural hollows around the location. Remember to replace it from where you got it.
If the tide is quite low, you can walk around the bay from Big Thornwick to Little Thornwick - be sure to check the tide times as it's not good to get stranded! Wear good footwear as it can be muddy and slippy when wet!
