THE ADVENTURE OF THE GRAY FLEECE JACKET
29 May 2006
10am

The adventure started out the previous day. Susieq and I, along with muggle Martin took to climbing up Plattekloof Gorge on a late Sunday afternoon at about 2pm. We only managed to do 2 caches and then had to head on back. We missed the last cable car at 6pm and so had to walk down Plattekloof in the dark. Not a good idea! Susieq's brand new fleece jacket fell out of my bag on the way down! So I came the next morning, early, up the cable car and then down Plattekloof (with legs of jelly) to see if I could find the jacket. I DID!! So this cache is a celebration of that event. It is where I found the JACKET.

Plattekloof is the “highway” of Table Mountain so you might have to be a bit carefull when retrieving this cache, and please, please, hide it carefully again as this trail is muggle city when it comes to trails.

Update: 24 February 2007
And now to make this easy... We know that many have tried, and failed! So on our recent maintanance run we took LOTS of pics, to help you out. We redid the co-ords as well, and clearly our previous GPS was smoking it's socks when I took the first reading, oh well, cie' la vie! Life goes on. I hope the following pics and co-ords will help you out!
