Geocache Description:

In almost every time of distress there is someone or thing that comes along to help you through. Weather it be the preacher after a death or a friend who loans you money to pay that unexpected bill. Even small things like finding a bottle opener for a non twist top beer bottle. These people or things are our saviors.

One of my times of distress came while out Geocaching.

After traveling down a sandy road in the Pine Barrens with no problem, I parked and started looking for the cache. While searching another car pulled up and out stepped Bella Candy & Moose Is Loose. After finding the cache and saying goodbye, I got in my car to head home only to get stuck up to the frame in sugar sand. Moose, Bella and myself used boat oars to try to dig out but each time I tried to move the car it got reburied.

While we were thinking of what to do next a stranger came along who, just by chance, had a tow rope. With a lot of pulling and pushing we were able to free my car from the quick sand.

As a small thank you I am dedicating this cache to them: Moose Is Loose, Bella Candy and the stranger. If not for the help of these 3 “saviors” I might still be there.

The cache is a log only pill bottle hidden in beautiful Glen Lake Park in Pitman. Container is small so please bring your own pen or pencil.
