Geocache Description:

A short (less than a quarter mile) hike down a little known and little used woodland trail at the Labrador Hollow Unique Area. The trail is nice and shady on a hot day!

This is a small cache - the container is only large enough for a log and a couple of very small trade items. When placed it had two of our signature buttons for the first (and second) to find, with no room for anything else!

The first challenge for this one is finding the trailhead. Park in the lot & head down the paved path toward the boardwalk. Before you reach the boardwalk, go to your right & look for a path in - it's in line with the newly planted trees and is marked with orange blazes - easy to see once you're on the trail! We've also added a waypoint for the trailhead.

The second challenge will be finding this one once you're at the location. The original hide was in an eye level hole in a tree with a pull cord but the tree fell so the cache had to be relocated and the coordinates have been updated. Please rehide the cache in the same way for the next person! Please carefully reseal the baggy with the log inside so that the log stays dry.

After you find the cache, continue down the trail a little further for a pretty view of a small glen. If you continue further down the trail, you'll come out on Labrador Road (which becomes Markham Hollow Road at the Crossroad). You can also enter from that side - there's a roadside parking area and the distance to the cache is about the same.
