Kayaker's and Canoer's have the choice of docking and hiking to this cache. Now the path is a little hilly and rooted over by the trees, but in all it's not that bad.
Okay I know I'm calling this Kayaker's Delight but any one can hike to this cache from the parking lot near the archery range and dam. But for me as a kayaker there is a nice hidden sandy beach to dock at and go hiking. The coordinates for the beach is N39 33.482 W84 44.398. If you choose to do the kayak/canoe and hike, just follow the path in front of you to the right. Now the the terrian is a bit hilly, and there will be times you will walk out along the cliffs of the lake, and there may be some roots you will need to watch out for. But all-in-all I think this is a good hike and no one should have too much trouble finding it. While you are out there you can take advantage of some fishing, or even chat with the fishermen and boaters that might be close by. Happy hunting!
