Geocache Description:

Nice walk from town, uphill, a little too steep for easy bike riding, but a pleasant short hike. Good trail.

This is traditional rubbermaid cannister type cache about half a mile off a city street, on County Land Trust Property adjacent to a state park. Park at the tennis court. Trail starts at the single lane paved/gravel road next to the tennis court parking area. About 170 yards along, a dirt trail takes off to the left uphill. Entrance to the trail is marked by four large rocks, placed to keep ATVs out. About 50 yards along the trail you will see the Nevada County Land Trust Trail marker. Continue along this trail until you notice what seem to be some very large inverted shepherd's crooks growing on the right side of the trail. Cache is in area with some poison oak, but it can be avoided. The usual contents....
