Welcome to the "Loop to
Loop" Series
This series
of caches will keep you busy as you drive from Memphis, TN to
Jackson, TN (or from Jackson to Memphis). There are other caches at
many of these exits so this is a great opportunity to pick up a big
number of finds in one trip. Plan an extra 2 or more hours for the
drive if you want to grab these caches and still get to your
destination on time. Some of the caches in the series are of the
VERY simple "Park and Grab" type. Some are a little bit more
challenging. Regardless, EVERY cache in this series has a very
unambigous hint that will get you to the cache location quickly. DO
NOT USE THE HINT UNLESS YOU REALLY WANT A SPOILER!!! Most of the
caches are micros so have your pencil handy. I hope you enjoy this
cache and the entire series!
THE
CACHE
Exit 74 - Lower
Brownsville: You are looking for a camouflaged
waterproof match container. Depending upon the time of the year,
there is some overgrowth around this location. You don't have to
bushwack but you do have to stand in some high grass. When placing
the cache, I didn't see any poison plants but this is a prime
location for them to take root. I did see some ants in the area
(not fire ants, though). Parking is off of the street in the small
driveway to the nearby field - there is only room for one vehicle
here. The street is somewhat busy and most drivers I saw go by
disregarded the speed limit so watch out for traffic and stay safe.
There is also a street slightly north and across the street where
additional vehicles could park for a short time.
