Geocache Description:

2nd Annual NMG Campout/Picnic

Where: Log Lk. Park and Campground, just off CR612, Kalkaska, MI
Everyone is welcome. Swimming, fishing, camping available. We will have Pavilion #2 for Saturday's picnic; bring a dish to pass, your table service, drinks, and meat to grill; electric available for those who wish to bring crock pots, etc. There will be a prize table, donations welcome and appreciated.
Schedule of Events:
Fri, 8/25/06 - 6-10p.m -Set up Camp/hobo stew-bring something for the pot. (quiet time is 10pm to 8am.) You MUST set up your campsite before 10pm!!!!
Sat. 8/26/06 - 11 a.m. start sign in for picnic
- 1 p.m. potluck lunch
- 3p.m. drawing for prize table & NMG Afghan
- caching going on whenever you can fit it in
Sun. 8/27/06 - 9 a.m. geocachers' breakfast
- must break camp by 2p.m.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: THE CAMPING FEES HAVE GONE UP! They are now as follows:
It's $14/night for no services;
$18/ for electric only;
$23/night for full hookup(electric, water, sewer) There is a limit of 6 persons per site, so if you are just two or three and want to share with another two or three, that would be alright. You guys just work that out among yourselves.

CAMPING INFO: This is on a first come - First serve basis.
If you want to reserve a site, call Gary Warner (campground manager) at 231-258-2940. He will take care of your resurvation. So tell him you are with the NMG campout group, and want to reserve a site...BE SURE to tell him if you need electric or not, or hook ups (water, sewer). There is an answering machine, so if you get that, leave your name and number and he'll call you back.

Please only RSVP logs. Non RSVP logs only cause confusion with the head count. Thank you for your co operation.
