Geocache Description:

It's a girl! And...a boy!...and...another boy!

This is one of a set of triplets, the spawn of Copperfield Rose's "Mother's Day" cache, placed in early May, 2006. I found it on the 5th of May, so (appropriately enough) my triplets are named Cinco, Dee, and Mayo. :)

Unfortunately, the triplets have been kidnapped by the "Evil Micro", who has hidden them in places around town. Luckily, he's not terribly original when it comes to choosing hiding spots. It could even be the case that the triplets' names will help give their locations away!

You are looking for "Dee", the girl. Dee is trapped inside a 35mm film canister containing a log and ten pink flower beads; one each for the first ten finders. Each of the other triplets will have ten beads of a different color (I may add more beads at a later date - for now, ten is all that will fit!). Find the beads from all three of the triplets, and you'll have a nifty matching set! The cache also contains a token "prize" for the first-to-find - a pink button in the shape of a child's handprint.

Written on the back of the log sheet is part of a set of coordinates that will lead you to the location of the "Evil Micro"'s secret hideout. Find all three of the triplets, and they'll help lead you to him! *** 07/01/06 - The log sheet has been replaced, and tiny slips of paper bearing "Dee"'s part of the set of coordinates for the "Evil Micro Geocache" have been added. I've also added 12 more pink beads. If, for some reason, you find the cache and do not find a bead or the coordinates, please let me know and I'll hook you up.

**** 03/12/08 - This cache has taken on a special significance that I could not have forseen when I placed it nearly two years ago. My sister and her husband (geocachers living in California) got married in October 2006. They phoned in the fall of 2007 to let me know they were expecting a baby. I was driving my car when I got the phone call, so I pulled into this very parking lot - just a few feet away from the cache - to answer it and receive the good news. Since their surname begins with "D", everyone soon began referring to the new baby as "Baby D". Baby Delaney (as she's since been named) is due at the end of April. We're all eagerly anticipating the arrival of the REAL "Baby Dee".

**** 05/18/13 - Time flies! Last month we celebrated the FIFTH birthday of my niece, Delaney - the real "Baby Dee". In 2010 she got a little brother - my nephew, Weston. See cache GC2ZQCH "West on Grant" for a cache commemorating his birth!

**** Further update - 04/20/2021 The real “Baby Dee” isn’t a baby anymore! She turned 13 today! And although Baby Cinco, Baby Mayo, the “Evil Micro” and the beads are long gone - her cache remains! At the time of placement this was in the parking lot of a “Captain D’s” - also long gone. Delaney’s younger brother’s cache, “West on Grant” is still in its spot as well! Delaney and Weston - send me proof that you’ve each found your namesake caches, and when we next get together I’ll help you find some GeoCaSh! 😉
