Visit a restored grist mill in historic Spencerville!
Parking is available at the Mill. From here, a short walk down
the garden path will bring you to the cache.
The cache is a small tupperware-like container. When placed it
contained Spencerville crests, grasshopper tattoos, a butterfly
keychain, a caterpillar model and a logbook.(What else would Nature
Geek leave?!)
After you find the cache, go and check out the Mill. Inside you
will find some great displays and artifacts, including a 1930's
general store. Or, you can bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the
sights and sounds of the "mighty" South Nation River.
The Mill opens in June and throughout the season is open
Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission is free,
however, donations are gratefully accepted.
Be sure to visit the new Art Studio on Bennett Street near
Centre.
Cheers! Nature Geek and NaGeMo
