At the roadside parking co-ordinates of S36 44.586 E144 17.860 you will find an object of historical significance, typical of the quality, design, and construction of many similar items to be found associated with this transport facility.
This object is also the starting point for a very popular cycling/walking tour. Bring your bicycles or hiking equipment, some spare time, perhaps a picnic hamper and you can then enjoy the Central Victorian countryside over all, or part of, the 19kms encompassed by this tour. This journey would also provide you with the opportunity to search for other caches that are hidden by mobiledaws, bevfre, ourselves, and maccamob, along or near to this trail.
The 2L clip top container at GZ is now secured within an ammunition box, and its contents include a log book, pen and some items suitable for swapping, if required. As this cache has now been totally revised due to some serious muggle intervention previous finders are invited to search again, initially for a micro object measuring approx’ 100 x 15 at the posted co-ordinates, which holds the numbers required to find a substantially larger container hidden in a geo conventional manner at GZ. Overhead tree cover may interfere somewhat with reception in the final search area, so feel free to use the encrypted hint, if this proves to be the case. Be alert when searching at both points as walkers and cyclists are constantly using this venue and can appear suddenly, as if from nowhere!
