Geocache Description:

THE COORDINATES ABOVE ARE NOT THE ACTUAL CACHE COORDINATES. They are for the start of the footpath to the cache from the road.

The cache and location

The cache is a 2 litre lunchbox, hidden within a few hundred metres of an old fort. I'm afraid we don't know anything about it, except that it's good for a pun and it's marked on the OS map! If anyone else does, let us know and we'll put something here.

The Puzzle

To help settle the old Artists vs Scientists debate, we thought we'd make a cache that requires no knowledge of either! For the latitude of the cache, find the painting in each column created by the artist at the top and use the number alongside in the coordinate. Similarly, for the longitude, find the element in each column discovered or isolated by the scientist at the top. Since we've moved the pictures to being hosted here at geocaching.com it's more difficult to give high resolution images, but if you go to the photos section just before the "Logged Visits" bit of this page, you may be able to get a slightly better picture.
