There are several things that that I like in a
cache:
- Difficult for non-geocachers to find but easy for those in the
know
- Easy access (prefer handicap accessible);
- Multiple legs;
- Varying container sizes;
- Kid/family friendly;
- Provides interesting scientific, historical or geographic
information while hunting;
- Treasure at the end of the hunt.
This cache is an effort to meet those criteria giving the geocacher
a quick tour of two parks in the town of Milton, WV.
The first leg of the cache is in a nano (Sorry, I hate micros and
nanos but there really isn’t a place to hide much else without the
cache being muggled). This container contains only the
coordinates for the final location. The final cache is
hidden in a rectangular food container. All cache containers
have been photographed in the gallery for this cache.
The first cache is handicapped accessible.
The second cache is wheelchair accessible except for the last
few meters before the cache.
Tremendous stealth is required for both parts of
the cache since these parks are very busy at times. There are
several fairs and festivals that bring large crowds to Milton from
time to time. The parks are in residential areas and the
neighbors are very curious.
Since this is a two part multicache, visitors
will be credited with a find only if the final cache
container is found. Finds not entered in to the logbook at
the cache will be deleted. Exceptions will be made for
geocachers confined to a wheelchair who find the first cache.
