19 personer druknade.
The cache is placed close to where the old Windbridge once crossed Fyrisån. In 1797, the owner of Ultuna mansion asked the citizens of Uppsala for help with the hay harvest. He needed assistance to move the hay from the Kungsängen, over Fyrisån, and finally south to Ultuna. In return, cattle owned by the citizen should be allowed to graze at Kungsängen. Many people showed up to help, and the bridge became heavily loaded. Suddenly, it gave in and fell into the river. 19 people drowned. During the 19th century, the bridge was moved approximately one kilometer south. There's still a (mechanical) bridge at the new location. However, the bridge hasn't been in service since the late 1990s. At the location of the old bridge, a steamship pier was build. It still stands today.
