This cache was created for the Team's 3-4-1 Celebration Geoevent. It is on honor of the 5 cats that shared our lives for many years. These were the cats that were here at it's origination. Black and fuzzy (Bear), Small Grey Calico (Baby), Small Orange Calico (Lady), Grey and White Tiger (Bean), and Grey Tiger (Sneakers). If you are lucky and they are in a good mood, you might get to pet them, otherwise they are afraid of strangers.
Quick Update: It has been 17 years since we first placed this cache, and sorry to say all the original cats have passed away. But of course we have new ones, Chihuly who is a black and white male cat, but he is scared of strangers, and Beastie a female tiger but she rarely goes out nor is very friendly. We have a white tiger cat who stays inside all the time and like Chihuly is scared of strangers. We also have a chihuahua (dog) who identifies as a cat, and his name is Chilly, so don't let him know he isn't a cat. 😉 Yes, you are on our private property, but we give you permission to cache in our front yard. When you come to get the cache if you see either a dark grey Nissan Leaf, or a silver Toyota Tacoma parked in the driveway, feel free to ring the bell and say “hi” to us, we will love to meet you. If you don’t see our vehicles we are most likely either working (blah!), or geocaching, or diving (Yippee!). We have told our neighbors about Geocaching and to expect strangers in our jungle in the front yard. Just like most caches, there is a easy way into our mini jungle and a easy way out, no bushwhacking needed for either! 😜
