A nice picture spot in the middle of the Harbor. PLEASE REHIDE WELL, THIS AREA IS VERY BUSY WITH FISHERMAN FOOT
TRAFFIC. You can drive out but I strongly suggest you walk out from kayak rental area, it can be very hard to turn around, once you drive out you might have to reverse out the whole way.
Go behind the Matson loading area, you will see a kayak rental shack, behind that is a jetty you can drive out on for some great views. If you have good driving skills you can drive out and turn around, there is only one spot to turn around and if someone is there you may be stuck to reverse out. This area is pounded be waves and salt air so I did away with the logbook, Ive tried all kinds of containers but they dont hold up. The object of this cache is to enjoy the views, not sign the book and trade items.
