Dino Pine Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

BoJaB: Hello

I am archiving this listing.

The current land manager of this area (St Johns River Watermanagement District) is in the process of turning this land over to another entity. They have asked that all the geocaches on this property be removed while they work out who is going to be the new land manager. Please pick up your container as soon as possible.

Geocache Description:

This trail winds through hardwood trees with a few pines mixed in. The bridge through the cypress swamp is beautiful.

During our visit we encountered at least one other geocacher and herds of bikers.

This is the first cache for all in the group. Both Yellow Hammerhead and Great Blue Shark started June 06. We did not find the cache sought and decided to create one ourselves.

The container is decorated with one of the name words and contains a few more as well.

Enjoy the trail – it does not loop.

*Added note: Since placing the cache encounters with yellow jacket wasps have been had by a few of those seeking. The area has been treated by the park service. Please use caution, the wasps may return. If the yellow jackets persist I will relocate the cache else where on the trail.

*This cache has gone MIA once in April 08. Please try to be Stealthy.

Please, read the logs for the details.
