There is plenty of parking in the carpark next to the forge. This is the parking set aside for The forge, bakery and mill
But if this is full there is more parking at the village hall just the other side.
Branscombe Forge is believed to be the only working thatched forge left in the country. It has been home to a succession of blacksmiths for the last two hundred years. The 17th century National Trust forge is in the picturesque Devon village setting of Branscombe.
The Old Bakery is a stone-built and partially rendered building beneath thatch, which at the time of its closure as a business in 1987 was the last traditional working bakery in Devon. The old baking equipment has been preserved in the baking room and the rest of the building now serves as a tea-room. The water-powered Manor Mill probably supplied the flour for the bakery
