Geocache Description:

Hillside Writer's Nook gives you a chance to share a little bit of your creativity and yourself with other cachers. The hike includes a moderate treck in the woods (w/ one steep hill) and leads to one of our favorite scenic vistas in the area. (Tip: For best access, enter the park via Great Woods Road.)

This is a mixed purpose cache. Like most caches, we invite you to sign our 'Guestbook' and exchange an item from our bag o’ goodies. In addition, we would love it if you would take a moment to share your favorite tale from the trail, original or favorite poem, or thought-provoking quote in the 'Writer’s Journal.' This is your opportunity to wow your fellow cachers with your wit, brag about a particularly hairy adventure, bestow us with great wisdom or inspire us with a bit of verse.

Acceptable entries might have themes like:
• A funny that thing happened on the trail
• Profound lessons about life (and maybe geocaching)
• Humorous advice for the novice cacher
• Or, 'You’ll never believe what my crazy friend did when he couldn’t find that heinous cache…'

The only rules are:
1) keep it reasonably clean (after all this is a family sport)
2) keep it to a few pages (no more than 4) per entry
(Save the trees; this is all about the outdoors isn’t it?).

Every few months, we (“Buggbear”) will post the best of the best (in our humble and biased opinion) on this webpage.

The cache has been deliberately placed in an area where you can enjoy the quiet seclusion while you draft your prose or verse. The cache site is located about 250 feet from the trail and provides views of the ocean when the foliage is not too thick. Please tread gently on the undergrowth while you are there, and be sure to stop along the way to catch a glimpse of the Boston skyline!

Contents:
1) 'Logbook' with pencils & sharpeners
2) 'Writer’s Journal'
3) Bag of trinkets for the kiddies and young at heart

Congrats to Team Spoonhead on the FTF.....
