Geocache Description:

Observe sandpipers and other shorebirds zipping along the mud flats spearing their meals from the muck.

The cache is located in the Irving Nature Park, Saint John. This is just one of many ways to get to it:

Follow the highway road signs to the Irving Nature Park. Once in the park stay on the roadway or hike the Seal Trail. Limited parking is available at [N 45°12.801’ W 66° 08.261’]. Cache is stashed near the shoreline, just off the Seal Trail. GPSr WAAS accuracy was 4.2m when cache was placed. Cache is a plastic water bottle wrapped in camo duck tape. The flat rocks near the cache area become very slippery when wet so be careful if approaching the cache from the waterside. It's easiest to approach from the trail. Enjoy the birds and the views. Photos of the area that we’ve taken can be seen by visiting the gallery. Please add some of your own. Good luck finding the cache.
