This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no response to my earlier post, I'm archiving this cache to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact me (by email), including the GC Code or a link to the page, and assuming it meets the guidelines, I'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Let's see are you in Beachwood....or Tom's River????? Guess you'll have to find it and see ;)

I pass this lake almost every day lately and can't believe there isn't a cache down here. So....here's my effort at rectifying that situation! You seek a medium tupperware container in the usual green garb. This is a themed cache, so please adhere to the theme.

This cache is meant as a foreign currency exchange. With the Euro taking over The Eastern hemisphere, foreign currency and therefore the history associated with it is all but becoming extinct. This is a chance to help you grab a little piece of it back. Please exchange only foreign currency (anything but Canada) in the form of coins or paper money. Travel Bugs are fine, but no other trade items as the container isn't terribly huge. But fear not, if you don't have any foreign change or bills, feel free to take a piece or two, but let me know in the logs when it starts to get low so I can replenish it.

Started with over 30 coins/paper bills from Iraq, Germany, Israel, Hong Kong, Italy, Nicaraqua, Honduras.....well you get the idea! They are also mostly from the earlier to mid part of the century. If you know your foreign coins, most of them are wortha few bucks...but they're mostly just neat. Occasionally I will place a higher value piece...but ya never know when!If you exchange please note in your log so I can keep track of the different countries represented.

Safe parking can be had down Crabbe Rd. As always, be safe, CITO as needed (this area could use it), and ENJOY this little piece of dwindling history. There is a sharpie and bags for your currency in the cache. Watch your clothes as there was a burn here not too long ago-I got in and out with no soot, but be careful. Hint is a dead giveaway....
